Owner/Chief Instructor
Joel is a certified firearms instructor serving Central Florida and surrounded areas.
His focus and commitment is to teach safety and the proper use of firearms to all students. Buying a firearm and going to the range periodically just isn’t enough. We have to hold ourselves and others to a higher standard. Proper training on a consistent basis creates for safer gun ownership.
Training points in our courses include, but are not limited to, universal safety rules of firearms handling, the seven fundamentals of pistol shooting, legal use of force, drawing and shooting from a holstered position, acquiring target(s) and placing shots accurately, moving and shooting, carbine to pistol transitions, medical considerations, the mindset to walk away whenever possible and to deescalate confrontations.
We strive to better educate each student by keeping an emphasis on safety, knowledge, and elevating their skill sets. By creating well trained, educated, and skilled gun owners we create a safer environment for all. Owning a firearm is a tool to use when all other options have been exhausted, we should always do everything we can to deescalate any confrontations whenever possible. This is also a skill set to develop and it is imperative that students learn and obey all laws.
